Updating SeeSnake Monitor Software

Updating your monitor software gives you access to the latest features and enhancements and often resolves performance issues. If a newer software version is unavailable, reinstalling the current version or performing a factory reset can sometimes resolve issues.

  • Factory Reset – Menu > Info > Restore Factory Default Settings

Update from HQx Live Mobile App (CSx monitors)

If your CSx series monitor is running software version 1409 or later you can update from the app:

Update or Reinstall from USB (CS/CSx monitors)

Reinstall (all CS/CSx monitors except CS-1000)

  1. Follow the steps to copy the update onto a USB drive (for best results use a new, name brand, drive like San Disk)
  2. Turn the monitor OFF
  3. Insert the USB drive
  4. Force Update: press and hold the Still Photo key for ~5 sec while powering on the monitor

Download updates from HQ for Windows (CS/CSx monitors)

If you use HQ software for Windows the app can download updates onto a USB drive.
