TruSense camera heads can receive firmware updates to enhance features and performance. Updates are included with SeeSnake CSx series monitor updates – updating your monitor updates your camera.
Firmware version 2092 (included with monitor software 2.20.35 and higher) reduces the prominence of red that can occur in certain situations.

Update Process
- Confirm your camera has firmware version 2074 or higher
Menu > TruSense > Firmware version- If the camera type and/or firmware version aren’t shown perform a factory reset
Menu > Info/About > Restore system settings to default - Firmware versions 2056 or lower see note below
- If the camera type and/or firmware version aren’t shown perform a factory reset
- Update your monitor software (click/tap here for how-to article)
- Connect your equipment and begin working, the update happens automatically while you work)
- Monitor sees a TruSense camera with older firmware and begins transferring the update (takes 20 - 25 min)
- Transfer pauses and resumes as the monitor is turned OFF/ON until 100% complete
- After transfer is complete the update is applied when power is cycled OFF/ON
- To view the progress: Menu > TruSense > Firmware Version
Cameras with firmware version 2056 or older
- Support is planned for a future monitor update
- You can update now for a nominal charge by sending the camera head to the factory service center, call to obtain an RMA: 1-858-244-6689
