Uploading from HQ to RIDGID Connect

Issue

The Nov 2023 security update to RIDGID Connect renders it incompatible with HQ desktop software older than version 2.1.448 (you can find your version number in Help > About). 


Solution

To restore compatibility please update to the latest version of HQ: https://support.seesnake.com/hq-for-pcs/ 


Uploading from HQ to Connect

In the new version of HQ jobs are now uploaded from the Sharing tab:

  • Open a job
  • Go to the Sharing tab
  • In the center pane deselect any files you don't want to upload
  • In the far right pane click on the Connect icon, then click on the blue Share button
  • The status indicator shows your progress
  • When the upload is complete you can find your report in Connect's Home tab
