HQ + Cloud Storage

HQ stores inspection jobs on your computer’s internal drive, which means they can be lost if something happens to your drive. Cloud storage services like Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, or Dropbox are an easy, low cost, way to share SeeSnake pipe inspection reports and media files with your customers and keep a permanent backup for your records.

Setting up Your Cloud Storage

  1. Create a folder for each job on your desktop – “123 Main St.” for example
  2. Open the job in HQ and export the report and media
    1. Report: select the Export tab, click Export, save it as a PDF file to the folder on your desktop
    2. Media: drag media from HQ and drop into the folder on your desktop
  3. Log in to your cloud storage service and create a new folder to hold your jobs “Inspection Jobs”
    1. Open the Inspection Jobs folder and drag the folder from your desktop into it
  4. Send your customer a link to the folder with their report and media
