Choosing a repair center

If your SeeSnake equipment requires service you can find a listing of repair centers on the RIDGID website:
https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/service-centers-repair?w=3&b=57&t=13&r=30&p=1&l=4

Independent service centers vary in terms of pricing, turn-time, training, and items serviced in-house vs. sent to RIDGID.

Asking a few questions can help you choose the right service center for your tool:

  • RIDGID authorized/trained by RIDGID?
  • Stocks parts for common repairs like pushrod re-termination?
  • Estimated shop time?
  • Shop rate?

Pushrod – most service centers repair kinked or damaged cables in-house.

Monitors – in most cases monitors are sent to RIDGID, however some repairs are only done at the factory service center in San Diego, CA (858-244-6689).

Camera heads – to minimize down time, camera heads sent in for repair are replaced with a factory rebuilt head. Repair centers that stock rebuilt heads provide the fastest turn-around time. The factory service center typically has rebuilt heads in stock (858-244-6689).

Locators – basic repairs like LCD screen and keypad replacement can be done in-house. Repairs to the electronics or antenna system is done at the factory service center in San Diego (858-244-6689).
