SeeSnake CSx series monitors can stream live SeeSnake camera video to a Windows PC or Android/iOS phone or tablet. Video can be viewed and/or recorded using a free app for Windows (HQ) or Android/iOS (HQx Live). Video can also be viewed in a compatible web browser on your Smart TV, computer, or mobile device, which can be useful for presentations, training, or troubleshooting.

To view the live camera video in a web browser:
  • Power up your CSx monitor, open Settings > Wi-Fi  and confirm:
    • Wi-Fi = ON
    • Wi-Fi Mode = HOST
  • Open the network settings on your Smart TV, computer, or mobile device and connect to the monitor's Wi-Fi
  • Open a web browser, type http://192.168.8.1/stream  then press Enter

NOTES:

  • Browser Compatibility: if your browser will not display the live video stream update to the latest version or try a different browser. Microsoft Edge, for example, may want to download the video vs. display it live.
  • Browser Performance: you may experience video lag and/or low frame depending on your browser and device; in most cases performance will be lower compared to HQ/HQx Live
  • On-Screen Displays: browser displays raw camera video only; on-screen elements generated by the monitor or mobile app (time/date/distance, icons, digital self-leveling) are not displayed
  • Troubleshooting Usage: if you can't view camera video on the mobile app try viewing the stream in a web browser to confirm the monitor is working properly.
