If you're seeing unexpected text on your screen at startup, it's coming from the counter on your camera reel, not the monitor.
Find Your Counter
Standard and Mini reels have a counter on the back of the reel. All other reels have a 9-button keypad on the front hub of the reel.
Hide the Text
9-button counter: Press the Text key.
3-button counter: Press and hold the Clock key.
